The current need of the nation is to lead the education for meaningful life and fully developed society. This fact has been ignored in education. The major focus has been placed on fluency in speech in English, doing homework and securing position in examinations.
Community assesses school children by marks they obtain in examination rather than their cognitive, social, emotional, psychological, motor and moral development. Many parents never think of how dutiful the children have been after school; how helpful and sociable he/she has been.

- Society judges the schools from the result of the SEE. So, beside normal schedule different programs are conducted so that students will achieve consistently higher academic achievement.
- Evaluation System: We adopt formative continuous evaluation along with diagnostic and summative evaluation, analyzing the result of these evaluations; separate programs are introduced for poor performers as well as high achievers.
We hold that the process of learning should be enjoyable, creative and dynamic for everyone involved. School is guided by the Nepali national curriculum leading to SEE as the base but teachers beyond it.
The language of instruction is English, with equal stress laid on Nepali. The curriculum lays extra stress on the extensive use of the latest information technology. School will provide the students with a solid foundation in Mathematics, English, Science and other subjects specified by curriculum.

The school conducts a variety of activities during regular class hour and after school. These vary with the time of year, the need of curriculum and interest of children as well as members of the community.
Activities are planned and channeled through various houses to make it more competitive whereas clubs are formed according to the interest and inherent capabilities of the children into various areas.

All the teachers set a small and manageable amount of homework on a regular basis, which is mainly based around literacy and numeric. Teachers write letters to the parents of their pupil, which will give details of their homework diary. If your child is having problems with the homework set, please let your child’s teacher know.
The school has a well managed canteen, which offers a variety of hygienic food items at a reasonable price.
Library is open and immense source of information. Similarly, students can borrow books form the library. Teaching is based on curriculum rather than textbook.
Computers are one of the most prominent and exceptional inventions of the last century. The main objective of Janajyoti School is to help children develop full potential with lively and enquiring minds so it has been conducting the computer program starting from grade one to the higher level to rate with the growing demand of the latest expertise.
Children with special educational needs make excellent progress and achieve well in relation to their abilities when they are well supported by classroom assistants, outside specialists and parents both in class and withdrawal groups. We have school counselor for special need children. You will be informed in time if your child needs special care in study and other academic activities.
